Established in 2003, EES is a vibrant multi-community club catering to enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. Our academy, led by qualified coaches, offers both group and individual coaching sessions, ensuring every member can hone their skills effectively. Welcoming new players with open arms, we thrive on inclusivity and community spirit.
Engagement is key at EES, as we regularly participate in tournaments and Essex and Barking Havering District league games across various levels. Our Tamil community proudly competes in the BTBF (British Tamil Badminton Federation) league, showcasing our dedication to cultural representation and sportsmanship.
Notably, our club boasts young talents who excel at county and national levels, a testament to our commitment to nurturing potential. With club nights scheduled at least thrice a week, members enjoy ample opportunities for practice and camaraderie.
A highlight of our calendar is our annual UK club tournament, where members come together for friendly competition and camaraderie. Moreover, with the proceeds from this event, we extend our outreach to Jaffna, Sri Lanka, organising and promoting tournaments to further promote the sport and foster international connections.
